2. Lazy Jane's Cafe & Bakery (best scone you will ever eat!)
3. Monty's Blue Plate Diner (most well known for vegetarian eats and the pie)
4. Mickie's Dairy Bar (go hungry...)
5. Mediterranean Cafe (only open for lunch)
6. Roman Candle Pizza (fun place to go with friends and family)
7. Umami (pork buns, dumplings, & ramen)
8. Alchemy (I go simply for the sweet potato fries)

1. One Barrel Brewing Company (brewed in small batches with love)
2. Old Sugar Distillery (nicest bartenders in town)
3. Mickey's Tavern (you will see all walks of life there)
4. The Old Fashioned (more WI tap beers than you can dream of)
5. Merchant (if you feel like dressing up & getting a cocktail to boot- this is the place to go)

1. Perfect Knot Yoga (great combo of physical and spiritual practice)
2. Mound Street Yoga (Scott Anderson always makes me think of something new)
3. UW Arboretum (bike, run, or x-country ski there)
4. Devil's Lake (bike, run, swim)
5. Goodman City Pool
6. Lakeshore path (picnic point is a classic Madison destination)

1. Avenues Proper (brew their own beer and have very tasty appetizers)
2. Park Cafe (great brunch & atmosphere)
3. Ruby Snap (to die for cookies)
4. Himalayan Kitchen
5. The Red Iguana (the mole sauces...)
6. Bistro on 3rd (the best burger we've had in SLC thus far)
7. Cafe on 1st (it's mainly known as a coffee joint, but has affordable & tasty curry)
